As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the journey that has been 2024. It’s been a year of growth, challenges, and remarkable moments, and as I look back, one quote resonates deeply:
“The secret to walking on water is
knowing where the rocks are.”
~ Bootsy Collins
Life, much like walking on water, often feels precarious. It may seem to the outside world that you navigate your path without issue, but in reality, it’s those rocks keeping you above the surface.
Success and balance are rarely achieved alone.
This year, I’ve had the privilege of navigating both smooth and turbulent waters, and it was the steadfast support of those around me that illuminated the path—the "rocks" that kept me grounded, and afloat.
2024 was not without its waves. Challenges tested my patience and perseverance. Yet, these moments also taught me invaluable lessons: the importance of gratitude, the strength in humility, and the power of community. As I reflect, I am profoundly thankful for each experience and for every person who played a part in my story this year.
As we move toward 2025, I hold onto hope for a year filled with peace, connection, and opportunity. Let us tread with purpose, support one another with compassion, and seek out the rocks that make our journey possible.
To all who read this, may your path be illuminated by hope and steadied by the support of those around you. Here’s to a peaceful and prosperous 2025—one rock at a time.
